These (welly) boots are made for working!

11 October 2011

Staff at The Vivid Consultancy are feeling ‘welli-tastic’ after swapping their office shoes for wellington boots to help local wildlife.

The team wore their wellies as part of Wear Your Wellies for Wildlife, a way to raise funds and awareness for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.

The campaign, which runs from 10 – 16 October, aims to encourage people, businesses and organisations throughout Gloucestershire to pull on their wellies to raise money for local nature conservation projects.

“This is the third year we have worn our wellies to work,” said Vivid Director Hilary Allison.

“We think it’s a great idea which is not only fun but also raises awareness and funds for the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and its important work. One of the fantastic things about living in Gloucestershire is its environment and wildlife so we’re delighted to do our bit towards helping it.”

There are some welly ‘tastic' activities throughout the week. For more ideas of how to get involved visit http://www.gloucestershirewildlifetrust.co.uk/

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust was founded in 1961. It manages 70 nature reserves, covering 2,500 acres.
